Action Research: The Flipped Classroom
While interning at Springboro Community City Schools, I had the opportunity to conduct action research on the Flipped Classroom concept. I actually began my research on the Flipped concept during the Fall Semester of 2012, where I began to review literature available on the topic. Once I began my internship at Springboro, I planned and implemented action research to complement my review of literature. My action reseach was conducted in two stages, the first being an initial observation and survey to establish a "baseline", so to speak. After the observation and survey were analyzed, the cooperating teacher and I discussed what could be changed for the next round of testing. After we established the necessary parameters for the second phase of the project, we implemented them and I collected data through another survey. I then analyzed the results of the observation and surveys, which are encapsulated in the report below.
